An Exploration of Terroir:
The Wine & Cheese of France

 

The epitome of France’s culinary excellence, the cheese course is wonderful way to understand the true meaning of French word terroir. Join Fromager Chris Munsey of Murray’s Cheese and Sommelière Dilek Caner on a Tour de Fromage sampling the finest examples of artisanal cheese and wines from the Loire Valley to the shores of Normandy to the mountains of the Rhone. This class will examine classic pairings, discuss the tradition, history and geography of French wine and cheesemaking and let you test for yourself if locality promises the perfect match.

8 different wines and 6 different cheeses will be tasted.
