Riesling Seminar

Riesling is a unique grape variety that can wow both the beginner and the wine connoisseur. The wine industry has been a big fan of Riesling for a while and it is great to hear from many people coming to Tasting World's classes, that it is among their favorite wines. Contrary to common belief Riesling is not always sweet and sweet wine does not imply low quality either.

This winter our Riesling seminar includes wines from Alsace, Germany, Austria, Australia and the US to show you the wide spectrum Riesling is capable of. We'll taste both dry and sweeter styles while discussing how Rieslings show differently from each region. The differences are so distinct that at the end of the seminar you'll have a clear idea of their distinguishing features which comes in quite handy when picking a Riesling for a particular dish. The discussion will continue with typical food matches for Rieslings and how to extract the maximum amount of relevant information from a Riesling label.

Crackers and Riesling-friendly cheeses will be served.
