Spanish Wine & Cheese

Explore the increasingly popular wines of Spain paired with exquisite Spanish cheeses. Spain continues to produce new stars from white wine appellations Rias Baixas and Rueda while great quality affordable reds from lesser known regions such as Bierzo and Jumilla are finding their way onto the store shelves. On Friday January 26^th, join us at TW for a tasting of 8 Spanish Wines and 6 Spanish Cheeses where we'll open our new Spanish favorites as well as classical wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero.

The cheeses will showcase a variety from the rare Monte Enebro to the mighty Cabrales. We'll provide you with ample information on Spanish grape varieties, wine regions and wine traditions in Spain as well as the origin and the making of the cheeses. But keep in mind that even though a predominant rationale for pairings exists, it takes some practice to find the perfect match and that's the greatest fun in our tasting.
