Tour de Sol: The Wine & Cheese of Spain

 

In all matters gastronomic, Spain's explosive ascendancy into the American popular imagination continues unabated. Are you curious how this revolution in food culture has affected the wines and cheeses of Spain? Catch the spirit on this roadtrip through the most interesting cheese and wine producing regions of the country from cosmopolitan Catalonia, through the heart of Castile and down into the rural Extremadura. Sip the bubbly Cava, drink the versatile Rioja and indulge in the softness of La Serena. Fromager of Murray's Cheese Chris Munsey and wine expert Dilek Caner will lead you along this exciting journey in Spanish cheese and wine pairing; the next best thing to actually being there.
