Sparkling Wines for the Holidays

What do you do when there is no Champagne on New Year's Eve? Or on your birthday or wedding? Believe me, I've seen this happen and it ain't pretty.

Well, the best is to prepare yourself in advance and learn about what is delicious and available out there other than Champagne. On Thursday December 20th, Discovery Wines is hosting us at their fabulous event space and opening 10 different sparkling wines for us including Cava, Prosecco, Blanquette de Limoux and even a sparkling Shiraz.

This is definitely a social event and accommodates both wine geeks and cooler company, so bring your loved ones without fear. However, if anybody wants to get serious during the event, I'll be there ready to discuss the merits of Mauzac vs. Macabeo and all else.

All the wines are 10% off on the day of the event at Discovery Wines for our group members.
