Wine Essentials

Wondering what the ritual is all about when they present you a wine in a restaurant? Not sure what to do with the cork once they put it on the table? Does it mean your date does not respect you if he or she ordered a wine with a screw top? Would you like to learn about more robust ways than the cuteness of the labels when choosing wine?
In this class we'll be tasting 8 wines while discussing all of your wine questions no matter how basic, silly or sophisticated they are. We'll cover wine tasting techniques, wine labels, all-important concept of appellation and the differences of major grape varieties. We'll touch upon food and wine pairing principles and you'll exit the class with a significantly higher wine-IQ and a clear road map of how to proceed if you'd like to continue learning on your own.
This class is extremely interactive and relentlessly unpretentious so come prepared to speak your mind and come with all your questions.

Fantastic cheeses will be served to accompany the wines.
