One-Day Wine Immersion

This is a 3-hour, comprehensive introduction to wine that covers how to taste and evaluate a wine, wine language and terminology, restaurant wine etiquette, wine labels, and issues on age-worthiness, storage, buying and collecting wines. In this class, you'll taste a dozen quality wines while keeping in focus, the differences in grape varieties and wine regions. The session is packed with useful information and we took the time to design it in the most digestible format that intrigues and entertains rather than intimidates. We don't promise that you'll be a master in wine after these three hours but we can confidently say that you'll have a better road map in finding your way when faced with an unfamiliar wine list, or when trying to find the right wine for the occasion. Cheeses, olives and cold-cuts will be served to illustrate some food and wine pairing principles and classical matches.

All questions relating to wine, and food and wine pairing are welcome in this class where you will also find out about New York's best wine shops and restaurants with great wine lists.
