Wine Industry Jobs Seminar
The Wine Director of a high-end restaurant group in NY said in a recent conversation: "I wonder why there are so few people who actually want to make a career out of wine." Frankly, I did not have a good answer to that. So many people think that they want a career in wine but very few are actually willing to do what it takes. I have been getting quite a few inquiries from restaurant and wine store owners and the challenge has been finding the qualified people to take these jobs rather than the other way round. That's why I'd like to hear from you. In this seminar, you will hear about the categories of wine jobs in the industry, their potential outcomes, as well as the skills required. You will also learn about a variety of ways to develop particular skills and the kinds of jobs best suited to your personality and lifestyle. A discussion will follow with questions from the audience. Please bring a copy of your resume if you are interested in being placed in TW's databank. There is no cost for the placement in our databank, however, we only accept candidates who we believe to have the necessary attributes for wine industry jobs. Therefore, please note that acceptance is not automatic. The $15 asked for the event is to cover the venue costs and to discourage casual participation. Only participants who are serious about their willingness to move towards higher goals in wine industry should consider attending. If you cannot attend the seminar but still would like to be considered for our candidate databank, please call 212-629-8529.
